# CAR THEFT

**Unwitnessed Theft:** If your car is stolen and you don't witness the theft, or only notice it after the getaway has started, it is **not** permitted to shoot at the robber.

It's forbidden to steal cars in a **safe zone**.

**Witnessed Theft:** If the car is being stolen right in front of you using a lockpick, the use of firearms is allowed, **depending on the location** (north or south of the city).

V**ehicle Recovery:** If you find your stolen car on the road, you are permitted to attempt a chase and a **Get Out and Fight**, as long as it's during robbery hours.
